The Life Process Program was originally developed for use in a residential treatment center, as an alternative to the 12-step / religious based programs that had dominated the treatment industry for years.

Then we moved it online so that our clients could access all the benefits of the residential program:

  • From the comfort of home
  • Without being pulled away from their daily routines
  • While avoiding the family disruptions that a residential stay entails.

The original online program took a coach-led approach. That is, when a client joined the program, they would be assigned a dedicated coach who would work with them throughout the program providing reflections, guidance and support along the way.

And this approach has proved successful. Here’s a snapshot of some of the feedback we’ve received:

We are proud of the program that we have created and proud of the positive impact that it has had in so many of our clients’ lives. But we knew that we could do even more.

Some of our program’s participants are self-led by nature. When asked how their experience could have improved, they told us that they may have benefited from the entire online program sans coaching— completely self-led.

That’s why, after months of hard work, we’ve launched our ‘Self Help’ program.

With the self-help program, clients can work through the program at their own pace and in complete privacy. Self-help clients also have the opportunity to engage in weekly coach-led online meetings and have access to our private members-only Facebook group.

We are dedicated to making our program as accessible, valuable, and affordable as possible, and the self-help program goes a long way towards this goal as we are able to offer it for an extremely low monthly fee, starting at $19/month (that’s 63 cents a day!).

And what if a client decides s/he wants more than self-help?

Nobody is stuck in the self-help program if they decide they want more. There is an option to schedule sessions to speak with a trained Life Process Program coach at any time. And, of course, the Coach-Led program is still available to clients who benefit from interpersonal engagement.

The addition of the self-help option provides our clients with more choice, more affordability and more autonomy to determine their own personal recovery path.

If you have any questions or suggestions about how we could further develop our program we would love to hear from you in the comments below.
